Jesus Said Ministries - is a, non-profit (with 501c3 status), all volunteer Christian outreach street ministry that has been ministering downtown since 1996. Our ministry helps to meet the spiritual and physical needs of the homeless and less fortunate men, women and children in the Downtown Akron, Ohio Community.

The Purpose Of OPEN M - in fulfilling its ministry is ministering primarily to a defined area of the City of Akron in the following ways:
- Feed the Hungry
- Heal the Sick
- Nurture Children
- Build Families
- Strengthen the Community

 | Habitat for Humanity of Ohio is a nonprofit, charitable, faith-based housing organization whose purpose is to assist Ohio Habitat for Humanity affiliates in increasing production of affordable housing. Habitat for Humanity of Ohio is a recognized state supported organization by Habitat for Humanity International. Habitat for Humanity of Ohio supports the 69 local Habitat offices by providing services related to advocacy, training and resource development.  | Mission Worship A new worship service has begun at High Street! Everyone's heard about it, but do you know how it relates to you? It's not just for the downtown neighbors. Anybody can come, no matter what, and have a hand in God's work.
Maybe you would like to come and greet people at the door, even out on the front walk! Maybe you would like to give communion at one of the round tables, as a representative of God's people.
Perhaps you would like to help in the kitchen, or with set-up. Let's remember that any visitor that comes to hear about the good news of Jesus Christ is better served at High Street if they can make a personal connection with the body of Christ.
Maybe your job is that simple. Remember that as the Lord begins to bless the service more and more, the need for help will increase as well.
Last but not least, it's a great way to further celebrate the Lord 's Day together-even twice in one day!
